Ishita Gogia has moved to Gallagher India to serve as its Practice Lead for Renewable Energy, the global broker announced on LinkedIn on Monday.

Gogia joins from WTW, where she spent more than five years, including most recently as the Vice President for Renewable Energy, North & East, based in India.

She brings extensive broking and insurance experience, specialising in complex risk portfolios, parametric solutions, and long-term warranty programmes. Her background includes managerial roles at major firms such as Bharti AXA General Insurance and Howden Insurance Brokers.

“Ishita’s strategic mindset and deep sectoral insight will strengthen our renewable energy practice and deliver enhanced client value,” Gallagher India stated in its post.

In the first half of 2025, Gallagher India has made a series of key personnel changes within its team, including Sanjay Mehra as Head of Marine, Rohit Gupta as Retention Lead – North, and Venu Madhav Matoory as Specialist – Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Risk. In July, the business also appointed Deepika Oswal as National Sales Leader.
