Marsh Pacific has appointed Scott Eccleston as Head of Risk Management, the company announced on LinkedIn on Wednesday, September 24.

Eccleston transitions into the new role from his previous position as Head of Global Placement for the Pacific region, bringing 30 years of expertise in insurance and risk management.

He has spent more than 20 years with Marsh, starting his career at the company’s Melbourne office before taking on various leadership roles across placement and risk areas. As Head of Risk Management, he will oversee the delivery of risk insights, claims expertise and insurance risk-management solutions for large corporations across the Pacific region.

“I’m honoured to lead such an exceptional team and build on the legacy of fostering deep collaboration with our clients and delivering innovative solutions as they tackle an ever evolving risk landscape,” Eccleston said.

Eccleston’s appointment continues Marsh’s recent strengthening of its Pacific operations, following the naming of Damian Schinck as President of Pacific operations earlier this month, as well as the appointment of David Walker as Energy and Power Risk Engineer.
