Sun Life Financial has appointed Sujoy Ghosh as Chief Executive Officer, High Net Worth, effective November 4, the insurance company announced in a press release on Wednesday, September 24.
Ghosh joins Sun Life from Citi, where he served as Head of Global Insurance & Asia Head, Business Development – Citi Wealth, overseeing the bank’s global insurance operations and business development activities in Asia. He brings 27 years of experience in leadership roles across insurance and banking in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
In his new role, Ghosh will lead Sun Life’s global High Net Worth business, which operates in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda. He will be based in Singapore and report to Manjit Singh, President, Sun Life Asia.

Ghosh’s appointment comes as Sun Life continues to strengthen its presence across Asia, having recently expanded its Indexed Universal Life offerings in Singapore and partnered with Beyond Sport on the Hoops + Health programme that now reaches over 48,000 young people across the region.
