Delta Insurance has appointed Olivia Cummings as Liability Underwriter for Central North Island of its New Zealand operations, the company announced in a press release on October 2.
Cummings joins Delta Insurance from Financial Independence, part of the ICIB Group, where she worked as a commercial insurance broker. She brings four years of insurance experience spanning support, domestic and commercial broking, and claims.
“Although I thoroughly enjoyed broking, I’ve always been interested in underwriting and the technicalities of various liability products. That curiosity is what ultimately led me to Delta,” Cummings said in a company statement.
Cummings’ appointment follows Delta Insurance’s recent hires in New Zealand, including Max Clothier’s appointment as Liability Underwriter in September and Krisann Pereira’s promotion to Auckland & Rest of NZ Team Lead for Property in August.
