AIG has announced two senior appointments in its Hong Kong casualty team, with Carmen Ho rejoining the business as major account lead and Evelyn Li promoted to corporate lead, according to Ivan Ho, head of casualty, Hong Kong, who announced the appointments on LinkedIn.
Carmen Ho rejoins AIG after more than a year at Liberty Specialty Markets, where she worked as senior casualty underwriter. She previously spent nearly seven years at AIG and two years at Aon.
Li joined AIG in 2018 as a casualty underwriter and later became a senior underwriter. Prior to that, she worked at Berkley Insurance Asia from 2021 to 2023.
Speaking on the appointments, Ivan Ho said Carmen Ho brings fresh insights and proven expertise back to the business. “Her leadership will help tackle our partner’s most complex, technical and large challenges.”
On Li, Ho said she had been promoted in recognition of her “outstanding” contribution and dedication. “This promotion will drive our team’s mid-market initiatives forward.”
The appointments come after a run of regional moves by AIG early this year, including the promotion of Angus Hon as regional professional indemnity lead for Asia-Pacific, Liam Baughan being named head of casualty for Australia, and Arlan Bolado’s promotion as multinational regional service delivery manager for APAC.
