Aon has promoted Anshuman Srivastava as its Reinsurance Global Chief Broking Officer, the firm announced in a press release on Thursday, 2 October.

Srivastava has been with Aon for over 18 years, primarily operating out of London in the UK. He most recently served as Deputy Head for Aon Capital Partners, concurrent with his role on the Global ReSpecialty executive management committee.

Srivastava’s expanded remit involves working with reinsurers to develop scalable products, aligning trading partners’ risk appetites with clients’ needs, and ensuring optimal placement with access to differentiated capacity. He will report to George Attard, Global Head of Strategy for Reinsurance at Aon.

“Through leveraging global insights and advanced data and analytics, he will also help to drive the development of innovative capital solutions that are designed to deliver the capacity necessary to support clients’ profitable growth strategies and ultimately shape better business decisions,” Aon said.

Attard, commenting on the announcement, highlighted the importance of focusing on sustainable reinsurer partnerships. He stated, “We are delighted to welcome Anshuman into his new role where he will play a pivotal role in aligning reinsurers and broader capital providers with the diverse and changing needs of existing and new clients.”

In September, Aon appointed key leaders across its business. In India, the firm named Harpreet Sidhu as Head of Financial Services & Professions Group, Prassana Kumar as Regional Head for Commercial Risk Sales, and Manoj Kumar as Head of Sales & Growth. Meanwhile, its Japan arm also welcomed Shinji Kuriyama as Enterprise Client Leader.
