AXA XL Australia has announced the hires of Perth-based duo Chris McElroy and Amanda Rattue as Senior Underwriters for Property and Financial Lines, respectively.
McElroy joins AXA XL with significant experience, having served as a Senior Property Underwriter for Mining and Energy at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in his most recent role and over a decade at Zurich prior.
Rattue meanwhile brings extensive expertise in financial lines and joins following a short stint with Vero where she was Senior Underwriter. Prior she was with Allianz, including as Acting Head of Financial Lines, and before that she spent five years at CGU Insurance.
