Specialty (re)insurance broker BMS on Wednesday announced the promotions of Callum McMillan to National Head of Directors & Officers Liability (D&O) and Pranav Jani to Client Director, National Head of Cyber.
Both leaders joined BMS through the company’s acquisition of Bluebook Brokers in July 2023.
McMillan brings two decades of underwriting experience from major insurers, including Zurich, ACE Insurance, and Chubb. In his new position, he will focus on expanding BMS’s D&O portfolio and supporting offices across the country to deliver customised client solutions.
Jani has worked in the insurance industry since 2009 and holds extensive knowledge in professional and financial lines, with particular expertise in cyber risk and professional indemnity. As National Head of Cyber, he will guide BMS’s cyber strategy nationally and help clients manage complex digital risks.
Andrew Godden, CEO of BMS, praised both appointments as reflecting the company’s talent depth. “Callum and Pranav have consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, technical skill and a client-first mindset,” he said.
The promotions follow BMS’s recent expansion activities in Australia, including the acquisition of Queensland-based Corporate and Commercial Insurance Brokers in July and the appointment of Georgina Reilly as General Counsel in June.
