Brett Kenyon has been named Senior Underwriter for Construction at Pen Underwriting in Australia, the managing general agent (MGA) announced on Thursday (12 June).
Kenyon brings over two decades of industry experience, having worked for insurers like Vero and MECON. Most recently, he served as Senior Underwriter for nearly seven years at SURA Engineering, a specialty insurer.
“Brett brings a wealth of experience with over 23 years in the Insurance Industry along with a strong and well-respected presence in the Queensland broker market. We’re looking forward to working together, continuing to provide insurance solutions to our brokers and clients,” according to the LinkedIn post.
Apart from Kenyon’s appointment, Pen promoted Nick Best to Head of Distribution in February this year.
