Lockton has appointed Jeremie Deschamps as regional head of cyber advisory for Asia, the broker announced on Monday.
Based in Singapore, Deschamps joins Lockton after spending five years at Marsh Asia, most recently as vice president, cyber risk consulting leader for South Asia. In his new role he reports to Frederic Boles, regional head of professional & executive risk and credit – Asia.
Deschamps brings nearly 20 years of cyber industry experience, spanning cyber security engineering, industrial resilience, risk quantification, operational technology, industrial control systems and insurance advisory. Earlier in his career, Deschamps held cyber advisory and technology risk roles at EY and Deloitte in Asia and Europe.
“Organisations increasingly want to understand and quantify their cyber exposures so they can make informed decisions on how best to protect their reputation, data, people, and operations,” Boles said. “Jeremie’s unique combination of technical expertise, advisory experience, and understanding of cyber risk will further strengthen our ability to support clients across Asia.”
The appointment comes days after Lockton named Michael Griffiths as regional director, healthcare, within its Professional & Executive Risk and Credit team and Martin Allain as head of wholesale for Asia. Over the last month, the broker has aslso appointed Alberto Ferriolo as regional growth leader for Marine & Transportation for Asia, Sandra Lee as chief growth officer for Risk Solutions for the region, and Yuman Chan as chief growth officer for People Solutions, Asia.
