Generali Vietnam Life Insurance has announced that Nguyen Phuong Anh has joined as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Nguyen Phuong An joins from FWD where she spent seven and a half years, most recently as Chief Partnership Distribution Officer. She brings vast knowledge and experience in senior leadership roles to the new role, having worked across bancassurance partnerships, distribution channels, digital commerce, marketing, distribution training, and corporate agency.
Commenting on her appointment, Jaime Anchustegui Melgarejo, CEO, Generali International, said, “We are glad to confirm Nguyen Phuong Anh’s appointment and her ability to further develop our plans and presence in Vietnam. Being the profitable growth engine for our Group in the coming years, Asia is a critical region and we are committed to investing in our people to strengthen our leadership in accordance with our Lifetime Partner 24 strategy.”
Nguyen Phuong Anh commented on her new role, saying, “Our business in Vietnam has gone from strength to strength and I’m looking forward to keeping this momentum and continuing to serve our valued customers in the country.”
