Zurich Hong Kong has promoted Lena Liu to Head of Middle-Market Underwriting for Commercial Insurance, the insurer announced in a company statement on LinkedIn.
Liu has been with Zurich for over 14 years and was serving as Head of Operations, International Programs and Captives before her promotion.
“We’re excited for Lena to bring both strong technical underwriting expertise and vast operational experience to deliver best-in-class service to our customers and brokers,” Zurich said in its announcement.
Liu has held various roles with the company across Beijing and Hong Kong. Before her time as Head of Operations, she served as Head of International Underwriting Services, Corporate from 2015 to 2017. Before that, she was based in Beijing as IPZ Receiving Team Lead.
