Zurich Singapore has appointed Marcus Seow as senior underwriter for marine, according to a LinkedIn announcement by Harry Taylor, the firm’s head of marine, on Tuesday.
Seow brings 20 years of industry experience, most of which was spent with a special focus on marine and cargo lines, and joins Zurich from AXA XL, where he was senior underwriter.
“His deep knowledge and experience will help us enhance the solutions and service we deliver to our customers and broker partners,” Taylor said.
The move adds to recent Zurich appointments in the region, including Digbijoy Joseph Shukla as head of digital for Asia-Pacific, succeeding Roopa Malhotra, who is moving to Zurich’s Japan business in a senior executive role. In Singapore, Zurich has also appointed Cheryn Wong as senior casualty underwriter.
