Aon has appointed Minwoo Yoon as regional director and Asia tax leader in its transaction solutions team, Martijn de Lange, the broker’s APAC managing director for the unit, announced on Monday.
Based in Singapore for the role, Yoon joins from South Korean law firm Kim & Chang, where he spent nine years serving as foreign legal counsel. Before that, he worked with PwC in New York and Hyundai Corp. in South Korea.
Yoon is the latest in a run of hires to Aon’s transaction solutions team in Asia this year. This includes De Lange himself, who rejoined Aon from BMS Group as APAC managing director for transaction solutions in February. Over the summer, Ee Yen Lin returned to Aon as regional director for Asia and Jessie Shi joined as associate director in Shanghai.
