AIG has appointed Allison Emery as Delegated Underwriting Authority Lead for the Pacific region, as announced by Kathleen Warden—AIG Australia’s Chief Culture, Engagement and Risk Executive—on LinkedIn.
Emery will be stepping into the newly created role at AIG following a two-year stint with Lockton Australia, where she served as Head of Market Management & Key Partnerships.
Before joining Lockton, she gained expertise working for firms including Marsh Australia and New Zealand, JLT Australia, Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers, and IAG. To her new role, Emery brings over 24 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Emery’s appointment follows several key leadership announcements AIG made across the APAC region in the past month, including Warden’s own promotion to Chief Culture, Engagement and Risk Executive for Australia. Other recent appointments include Sandeep Gopal, who was named Chief Risk Officer for the APAC region earlier this month, while in June Snowy Chan was named Marine Lead, and Philip Kwan became Head of Personal Lines, both for AIG Hong Kong and Macau.
