Delta Insurance has appointed Petr Dorofeev as technology and cyber product lead, the company announced in a LinkedIn post on Friday.
Dorofeev joins from Suncorp New Zealand, where he was most recently portfolio manager. Before that, he held various underwriting roles at AIG. With almost a decade in the industry, he brings extensive global financial lines experience and a strong background across cyber, professional lines, and strategic portfolio management.
His designation comes after several movements at the managing general agent so far this year, including the promotions of Dinesh Murali to managing director of Delta Insurance New Zealand, Joleene Dawson to chief underwriting officer, and Andrew Beaton to the newly created role of group head of property for Asia-Pacific at the beginning of April and the appointments of Teresa Pollard as interim chief executive officer of Delta Insurance Group, following Kent Chaplin’s departure, in mid-March, and Hamish MacLean as managing director for Australia in early February.
