Sun Life Vietnam has named Ly Tran as its new chief operations officer and appointed Tuan Anh Vu as its chief bancassurance officer, the company announced in a LinkedIn post on 11 December.
Tran has been with Sun Life for 12 years and brings diverse experience across actuarial, finance, and strategy.
In her new role, Tran will focus on driving operational excellence and efficiency to achieve the company’s strategic objectives through streamlined processes, transparency, and continuous improvement, the business said.
Meanwhile, Vu is a financial services executive with over 18 years of experience in banking and insurance. He joined Sun Life in 2024 as chief strategic initiatives officer.
In his new role, Vu will lead the company’s restructuring of its bancassurance activities to build a modern, sustainable operating platform, Sun Life said.
Tran and Vu’s appointments come after the designation of Sujoy Ghosh as CEO for high net worth in September and Anshuman Das as chief bancassurance officer for Asia in October.
