Willis has appointed Brian Fung as Associate Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Greater China, within its M&A Asia practice, the company announced on LinkedIn on Monday.
Fung joins the global broker from Aon, where he spent nearly four years in transaction solutions roles, including most recently as Senior Associate in the business’s M&A and Transaction Solutions.
In his new role, Fung will support clients across the Greater China region and contribute to the continued growth of Willis Towers Watson’s M&A practice in Asia. “Brian brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in the M&A space,” said Namit Mahajan, Head of FINEX Asia at Willis Towers Watson.
Fung’s hire follows a series of recent regional appointments, including Seçkin Atilgan as Head of Growth, Trade Credit in Asia in August and Azad Kumar as Growth Leader of Energy, Construction, and Marine for India earlier this month, as the firm continues to strengthen its presence across key Asian markets.
