Lockton has appointed Renuka Nar as director – head of life and health reinsurance for India, the business announced on Linked on Friday.
Nar joins from Aon, where she helped launch the business’s life & health (L&H) reinsurance practice in India in early 2025, and most recently served as head of broking, L&H, reinsurance solutions for the country.
She brings over 24 years of industry experience and expertise, including time at Howden, J Boda Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers, Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Reinsurance Group of America, PNB Principal Insurance Advisory Co. Pvt. Ltd., and Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Ltd.
In her new role, she will report to Sudip Indani, managing director – head of people solutions for India at Lockton.
Nar’s appointment follows recent personnel moves by Lockton in the region over the last week: David Gower as chief client officer for the Pacific region, Subhash Chandra as head of life and health reinsurance and Julian Park as South Korea head.
