Sompo Singapore has appointed Linda Ng as Head of Property & Multi-Lines, the company announced via LinkedIn on Wednesday.
Ng joins from MSIG Asia and, in her new role, will report to Li Lian Soong, Head of Property for Asia Pacific. She brings 27 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting and reinsurance, including time at Allianz Group and AGF Insurance.
“Linda’s extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our team and expand our presence in the region,” Sompo said in its announcement.
Ng’s appointment is the latest in a series of senior hires at Sompo. In early October, the insurer promoted Li Li Leong to Head of Actuarial for its Singapore operations, while in September, the business named Alessandrea Quane as CEO of International Markets, overseeing commercial and consumer insurance operations across Asia Pacific, the UK, Continental Europe, and Brazil.
